Gambling License Renewal

The Gambling Control Act (Business and Professions Code section 19800 et seq.) requires an owner licensee or designee of a gambling establishment who wishes to continue operation of the establishment to renew the state gambling license with the California Gambling Control Commission on an annual basis.

Each applicant and their spouse who has a community property interest in the gambling establishment must complete and submit an application for renewal of a state gambling license to the Commission along with a $500 non-refundable application fee and the appropriate table fees. Upon review, an applicant may be required to deposit a sum of money that, in the judgment of the Director of the Division, will be adequate to pay the anticipated investigation and processing costs, in accordance with Business and Professions Code Section 19867.

FORMS

The following supplemental forms and/or documents are required by the Division in addition to the Commission's application (Application for State Gambling License CGCC-030). The forms are available in PDF (Portable Document Formats). To open PDF files, download the free Adobe Acrobat Reader.
