Court-Appointed Conservators
Statewide Registry of Private Conservators and Guardians
WHO MUST REGISTER
All persons who wish to serve as private conservators or guardians or who are serving currently as private conservators or guardians must register with the Statewide Registry and re-register every three years. The private conservators and guardians who are required to register are those persons who are required to file information with the county clerk pursuant to Probate Code section 2340. These persons also must register and file a signed declaration with the Statewide Registry. (Probate Code section 2850 et. seq.)
