Any applicant who meets the minimum qualifications may apply for open examinations, whether or not he/she is currently employed by the State of California. Click on the examination title to view the examination bulletin.

CONTINUOUS FILING OPEN EXAMINATIONS
Please submit an Examination Request Form for each continuous filing open exam in which you are interested. Submission of that form places your name on a mailing list for the designated class(es) to receive examination materials when an examination is scheduled. Exams are scheduled as needed by the Office of the Attorney General, Department of Justice.
NOTE: If a final filing date is shown for a continuous filing exam, submission of the form after that date will not be accepted for the current examination, but will be held for the next scheduled examination. Eligible lists established as a result of these examinations are only used for the location(s) specified. Please click on the examination title for more detailed information.

CONTINUOUS FILING PROMOTIONAL EXAMINATIONS
Applications are now being accepted on a continuous basis for the following departmental promotional examinations. Applicants must have a permanent civil service appointment with the Office of the Attorney General, Department of Justice. Applicants not meeting promotional requirements will not be admitted to the examination. Exams are scheduled as needed by the Office of the Attorney General, Department of Justice.
