Help for 'Sketches of Q'

Overview:

'Sketches of Q' is a drawing tool for quick sketches or notes on a palmtop computer. It provides just the core functionality that you would expect of such software. But there are two smart things about it:

1. a doubled virtual resolution that enables antialiased and smoothed drawing

2. a filling algorithm that works like real pouring of color and can be stopped at any moment so that filling of unclosed areas is possible

Configuration:

Use and hold the tool buttons for configuration options!

1. New: choose if you want to edit the pre-built name of every new sketch. The default name base is "Sketch", but you can change that here. The full name looks like that: "<name base> <date> <time>"

2. Save: (from the "Open" button, not quite logical ...)
Confirmation: the default is to always save a modified sketch without asking before leaving or opening annother sketch. Change this to be asked every time if you want to save your work.
Preferred storage: if you have memory cards in your system you can choose a different storage place for the sketches here. Good thing is, your work survives a full reset ... Changes are active for the next "New" sketch.

3. Pencil: choose between two pencil grades. The hard pencil looks like grey but isn't; scribble on one spot several times and see it become darker and darker - just like using a real hard pencil.

4. Filler: the default is to enable filling only on white. Change if you want to be able to start filling inside already filled areas (like spilling color into the same color). But beware, this way the color is NOT stopped by lines of the same color!

5. Eraser: two sizes of erazors are available.
