Outstanding Features: Fat fingers

INFORMATION

The San Francisco Police Department is requesting assistance in identifying a suspect in the sexual assault of a 13 year old female.

MODUS OPERANDI SUMMARY

On March 12, 2001, at 1600 hours, the unknown suspect followed a 13 year old female home from school, forced his way into her apartment, and sexually assaulted her.

The victim was riding the N-Judah streetcar and exited at Second Street and The Embarcadero. The suspect, who was on the same streetcar, got off at the victim's stop. The suspect, carrying a large manilla envelope, followed the victim through the gate of her apartment complex stating that he was late for a meeting. When the victim opened her apartment door, the suspect forced his way in and sexually assaulted her. The victim was able to break loose from the suspect and get to the front door where she screamed for help. The suspect fled on foot. This incident took place across from PacBell Park.
