TITLE 11. DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE NOTICE OF CHANGE OF PUBLIC HEARING DATE AND EXTENSION OF PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD
REGARDING THE ATTORNEY GENERAL'S REVIEW OF NON-PARTICIPATING TOBACCO PRODUCT MANUFACTURER COMPLIANCE WITH RESERVE FUNDS REQUIREMENTS OF HEALTH AND SAFETY CODE SECTIONS 104555-104557.
BY NOTICE published May 11, 2001, Notice File No. Z01-0425-01, California Regulatory
Notice Register 2001, No. 19-Z, the Department of Justice announced it would conduct a public
hearing for interested persons to present statements, arguments, or contentions relevant to the
regulatory action. The hearing was originally scheduled to be held at the Office of the Attorney General, 1300 "I" Street, 11th floor press conference room, Sacramento, California, on June 26, 2001, beginning at 10:30 a.m.
PLEASE BE ADVISED that the hearing date has been changed to August 6, 2001. The time and place remain the same. Also, the public comment period will be extended to August 6, 2001.
Non-substantive inquiries concerning this action, such as request for copies of the text of the proposed regulations, may be directed to Linda Barragan at (916) 323-3613.
