May 31st

Tickets for the Montreal,Detroit,East Rutherford,and Uniondale shows on sale today.

The Swing Tour finally starts in London at Earl's Court.

The Cure performed "Mint Car" on TFI Friday.


May 30th

In it's 3rd week on the Billboard charts,Wild Mood Swings falls to #38.


May 26th

The 1st encore from the Modern Rock Live Show(which many stations cut away from) is aired on a best of Modern Rock Live special.


May 23rd

In it's 2nd week on the Billboard charts,Wild Mood Swings falls to #23.

The Cure cancel more Swing Tour shows.The following is the press release from Fiction Records:

Robert Smith Unwell
Cure Dates Change

Robert Smith, since returning from New York on May 13th, has been suffering
from a pernicious and lingering sinus infection affecting his ears, eyes
and throat.  As a consequence the shows in Cardiff this Saturday (25th May),
Sheffield (Sunday 26th May), Manchester (Tuesday May 28th) and Birmingham
(Wednesday 29th May), have been postponed until December:

Cardiff- Monday 9th December
Sheffield- Friday 13th December
Manchester- Saturday 14th December
Birmingham- Monday 16th December

The rescheduling of the Birmingham show necessitates a change of venue to the
NEC.

Tickets being held for Birmingham NIA must be exchanged at the NEC for the
new dates at the NEC.  Tickets for all other venues are valid and need not be
exchanged or can be refunded at the point of sale.

The Earls Court shows Friday 31st May (sold out) and Saturday 1st June are
expected to proceed as is the Point Depot in Dublin on Tuesday, 4th June.
It is hoped that Robert will join the group early next week for production
rehearsals.

The cure are also booked for TFI Friday on 31st May playing live the
forthcoming single Mint Car set for release 10th June.

May 18th

The Cure have cancelled the 1st 3 shows of the Swing tour,due to problems with the lighting systems for the tour.The May 21st Aberdeen,May 22nd Glasgow,and May 23rd Newcastle shows have been rescheduled to December.


May 16th

Wild Mood Swings enters the Billboard Top 200 at #12 with sales of 74,000.


May 12th

The Cure performed a live concert and answered questions on a special edition of the Modern Rock Live syndicated radio show.Check the set list section to find out what they played.


May 11th

Tickets for the Los Angeles and Worcester shows on sale today.

The Cure performed "Mint Car" and "Inbetween Days" on Saturday Night Live.


May 7th

Wild Mood Swings is released.Early reviews are decidedly mixed.

The Cure played a special live show at the Adrenalin club in London.Check the set list section to find out what they played.
