Nov. 12th-Hannover,Germany (Musichalle)

Review by Sven Schulz

Hello fellow Cure fans!
It is (again) Sven from Germany, who is just in the middle of the European
Cure tour.
Yesterday I saw the first German Show in Hannover.I really was glad to drive
less than one hour for this tour-for me this time it was a local Gig......
I have very mixed memories of the gig last night:

1.
The audience was fucking bad-no atmosphere at all....not even for 1 per cent
comparable with the french, belgian and dutch gigs I saw...
I was really disappointed,as it was a Gig at home and the first in Germany.....
well now I understand, why the group do not like the german shows very much....
All german shows I saw since 1987 were better than this regarding athmosphere!
It was really sad..............

2.
The group continued doing only 150min shows.

3.
The athmosphere aside, the performance and setlist was very nice, but too
short!

The Blood---this was cool
Just like heaven-it seemed the crowd woke up, but only a bit!
Prayers for Rain-no raiiiiiiiiiiiin- Robert even did not this line!
Boys ----a wonder: the crowd was dancing...(a bit)

This last encore was great....a very nice version of forest...really strange...
after singing the original text, Robert singed for minutes:Again,
Again......Again
Again etc....endless with breaks and walking over the stage during it!
The song went over in Forever(Robert said: faster, faster....)

Resumee:
Ok, the performance was good, but the audience was not....
I hope the athmosphere will be better at the other german shows
