Topic: Your reviews of the 'CuT HEre' video

"I love the video.  It's simple and straight forward - just what the song needed.  I don't think we needed to see it
acted out with Robert bumping into an old friend on the street.   The boys all look wonderful in the matching suits
and Simon has a cool new haircut.  Can't wait to see if they have a video for Just Say Yes."

- Joe Rodriguez

"The video is enjoyable.  Gotta love the suits and Simon looking sharp with the side burns.  I like the way
everyone is involved and the use of the speakers on the set is a nice touch.  But, as Sascha noted, I think for a
Greatest Hits they could have had a more definitive video. Something more along the lines of what Tom Petty did
with "Mary Jane's Last Dance" for the Heartbreakers Greatest Hits.  I can picture Robert looking out the window
of a pub, watching a gentle rain fall and singing "I miss you, I miss you, I miss you, I miss you so much"!"

- Luke LaCasse

"Well it's simple, it fits the song. at least it's quiet and you can see all them and don't get dizzy like I got watching
"Wrong number". A thing I like is that you can see for several seconds the other members, it's not so... Robert
all the time..."

"I'm really not sure if this video is good to promote this real good song. It's a bit static to watch the band just
playing this song. There are similaritiees to some other Cure videos, especially Fascination Street... It's real good
to see the band 'playing' the song but also it's a bit boring in another way... The Cure made so very good video
promos and this song would have deserved it to get a cool video performance and not this kind of cheap thing..."

"Has anyone else noticed the similarities between the videos for 'cut here' & ' a night like this' ~ the lovely
'matching suits'.........."

"My opinion of it is that is PERFECT. a great mix betweeen fascination street (the image being cut in pieces and
deforming the elements) and letter to elise (the band playing in front of cameras without looking forwards for
more). the mood of the song is also in many things seemingly to these other songs and this video is greatly done.
i must not forgot catch that has many similarities too with both elements... we couldn't expect a history video like
the 13th (which i think is great too). the video puts the attention in the lyrics, the most important, and keeps away
from showing a happy band playing hard pop but a great band putting together a perfect pop song with some
avantguard and simple image effects (not many but well used). the suits just suit perfectly with that purpose. the
same suits they wore on the dream tour with a unique wooden background and some amplifiers to show this is
nothing more but a rock band playing music!"
