Three Imaginary Boys live in Metz at Salla Europa (Oct. 17th, 1981)

19MB AVI

(Thanks to Olivier for the file)

"Rumor has it that it was a camera operator of local TV channel France 3 Lorraine that had taken the initiative to bring his equipment to the Cure concert in Metz back in 81.  In any case, here's Three Imaginary Boys live in Salle Europa on October 17th, 1981. (I have the entire show on VHS but the quality is rather iffy and Three Imaginary Boys is the song with the brightest lights so you can imagine how dark the rest of it is.)"

Update: "Just a few words about the video of the concert in Metz, Salle Europa (France, october 17, 1981) : it wasn't shot by the local TV channel, but it was filmed by a french fan with a personnal VHS camera. He also filmed other french concerts the same year, but only the Metz one was sold as a bootleg video in the early eighties, without real picture sleeve. This video was listed by sellers in some french music magazines in the eighties..."
