(Los Angeles) – Attorney General Bill Lockyer today issued the following statement regarding Judge Thomas Jackson's "Findings of Fact" in the national Microsoft case:

"The judge has properly found that Microsoft enjoys monopoly power and has abused that monopoly over personal computer operating systems. The judge's determination is good news for consumers and the many innovative computer companies that have been unfairly constrained by Microsoft's business practices."
