While you should call to make sure, most ranges work roughly the same: they have rental
guns and you have to buy and use their ammunition in them, they will provide you ear and
eye protection for free, your lane fee is good until you are tired of shooting (not just
for an hour), and they have memberships or prepaid punchcards available which can lower
your per-trip costs. Many of the ones we contacted charge two different prices for
lane usage, one price if you bring your own ammunition and a slightly lower price if you
purchase at least one bag/box of their ammunition. In general, expect to pay about
$10 for a lane, $5 for a rental gun, and $10 for range ammunition.
