Adobe Acrobat PDF Viewer
You may acquire the Acrobat Reader from the Adobe Acrobat Web Page.
Once you have acquired the Acrobat viewer, the installation program should automatically configure your system to read PDF documents. However, you may need to manually configure your web browser to launch the viewer when you click on a PDF file.
- In the preferences or options menu you will need to add a new "Helper Application."
- Select "Helper Applications" or "Apps."
- Select "New." Enter "PDF" for the extension(s).
- Select "Launch Application" and enter the file name for the Acrobat Reader.
Once you have followed these steps, every time you click on a PDF file from within your browser, the Acrobat viewer will be lanched automatically and you can view or print the file.
