California Medical Board

The California Medical Board licenses physicians and surgeons and other closely related healing arts practitioners such as acupuncturists, audiologists, hearing aid dispensers, physical therapists, physicians assistants, podiatrists, psychologists, respiratory care practitioners, speech language pathologists, and registered dispensing opticians.

Osteopathic physicians are regulated by the Board of Osteopathic Examiners.
