Complaint Against a County Agency/Employee

If you have information which you believe may indicate criminal conduct on the part of any individuals in county government, we suggest you contact the district attorney in the county where the incident occurred.

If you have information which you believe may indicate improper governmental activities on behalf of a county agency or county employee, we suggest you submit your complaint to the grand jury in the county where the action has occurred. If after investigation the grand jury concurs with your allegations, it will request the intervention of the district attorney.

The above agencies are there to serve you. The state Attorney General is authorized to undertake the role of a prosecuting officer only in specific cases when the county district attorney is disqualified from the case or when they clearly, without justification, fail to act.
