SPECIAL TASK FORCE PROGRAM

To deal with drug trafficking problems beyond the scope and resources of regional task forces, BNE paticipates in special task forces with the assignment of personnel. Most of these special task forces are managed by an agency other than BNE.

Alameda County Narcotic Task Force (ACNTF)   -   (510) 568-0411
The Alameda County Task Force targets, investigates and prosecutes individuals who organized, direct, finance, or otherwise engage in high-level drug trafficking or money laundering.

Allied State and Local Task Force (ASaLT)   -   (323) 869-6800
The mission of ASaLT is to investigate, dismantle, and prosecute major narcotic organizations who are involved in the distribution and transhipment of cocaine, heroin, and marijuana and laundering their illicit proceeds.

High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas (HIDTA)
Four California regions have been designated as high drug trafficking areas by the Office of National Drug Control Policy. The designation results in focused and specialized narcotic, border and gang-related investigations.

Inland CrackDown Allied Task Force (INCA)   -   (909) 782-4313
The primary focus of INCA is cocaine and money laundering within the Inland Empire Region, with heroin and marijuana interdiction as a secondary mission.

Jurisdictions United for Drug and Gang Enforcement (J.U.D.G.E.)   -   (760) 940-6511
The J.U.D.G.E. task force involves state and local agencies in northern San Diego County working together with the district attorney's office to arrest and prosecute drug and gang violators.

Multi-Agency Gang Enforcement Consortium (MAGEC)   -   (559) 457-4406
The mission of MAGEC, which became operational on January 1, 1998 and is comprised of federal, state and local law enforcement agencies within Fresno County, is to eradicate the criminal activity of street gangs who commit a multitude of crimes an threaten and terrorize the public.

Operation Alliance Task Force   -   (619) 671-4631
Operation Alliance is a multi-agency task force composed of federal, state and local law enforcement agencies whose primary mission is to target narcotic transportation, smuggling and distribution groups along the Southern California/Mexico border.

Orange County ProActive Methamphetamine Laboratory Task Force (PROACT)   -   (714) 558-4183
PROACT's mission is to proactively locate and seize methamphetamine laboratories through various intelligence sources.

Sacramento Area Narcotic Enforcement Task Force (SANE)   -   (916) 566-7160
The primary mission of SANE is to conduct criminal investigations of major organizations, groups, or individuals trafficking illegal controlled substances in Sacramento County.

San Diego Financial Task Force (SDFTF)   -   (619) 744-4746
The mission of the SDFTF is to target the money laundering cells of both domestic and international drug trafficking organizations.

San Diego Integrated Narcotic Task Force Airport Team   -   (619) 686-8020
The purpose of the San Diego Integrated Narcotic Task Force Airport Team is to integrate resources and investigative efforts to address the trafficking of controlled substances and drug proceeds being commercially trafficked and/or transported through the San Diego International Airport, as well as local bus and train depots.

San Diego Integrated Narcotic Task Force Parcel Team   -   (619) 686-8020
The purpose of the San Diego Integrated Narcotic Task Force Parcel Team is to integrate resources and investigative efforts to address the trafficking of controlled substances and drug proceeds by parcels being commercially trafficked and/or transported through airports and local bus and train depots. The team works in conjunction with the U.S. Postal Inspectors Unit.

Southern California Drug Task Force (SCDTF)   -   (213) 989-6400
The purpose of SCDTF is to disrupt illicit drug trafficking by immobilizing targeted violators and trafficking organizations that use the Los Angeles High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) as a trans-shipment point for illicit drugs to other regions of the nation or as a money laundering hub.
